Cal Poly Pomona redshirt sophomore Zaria Francis, a USC transfer, won the women's 100-meter dash and led off the victorious 4x100 relay in her first competition in more than 10 months at the Cal State L.A. Invitational at Jesse Owens Stadium. Francis clocked 12.34 in the 100 and helped the Broncos prevail by a 47.41 to 47.42 margin over Cal State L.A. in the 4x100 relay.
