Khallifah Rosser, a Cal State L.A. graduate and 2016 NCAA Division 2 national champion in the men's 400-meter hurdles, won his sections of the 100-meter dash and the 800 meters less than 30 minutes apart at the Cal State L.A. Invitational at Jesse Owens Stadium. Rosser clocked 10.83 seconds in the 100 to place fourth overall and then ran the fastest overall time in the 800 at 1:59.33. Rosser placed third in the 400 hurdles at both the USATF Outdoor Championships and NACAC Championships last year.
